Sailing Instruction

Your experience aboard an Ophira Sailing vessel is an introduction to the technology and art of sailing. If you want to take the next step we suggest you consider certified sailing instruction. There is no better way to learn the 'right way' than from a sailing curriculum that was thoughtfully constructed.

We endorse two partners for instruction:

• For students up to 17 years old we suggest Hudson River Maritime Museum.

• For adults, we would recommend Griffin Sailing School located in Connelly, NY (Kingston).
